We shall explore the options of kitchen cart / trolley based on their ergonomic values (a.k.a design that boosts efficiency).
First, be clear in what do you want the kitchen cart / trolley to help you achieve?
1. Would you use the kitchen cart / trolley to:
- double as an island / work station?
- store everyday items?
- store occasional items?
- transfer food from kitchen to the dining room while hosting dinner party?
- display decorative items?
2. Consider how often would you move the kitchen cart / trolley about?
- Very often
- Moderately
- Hardly ever
If you will be moving it quite a lot, then you will need a lighter cart / trolley. If you want to use it as an island, you will need a sturdier kitchen cart.
3. Measure the dimension of the space that you have to park your kitchen cart. Not to forget the height of each tier, because you wouldn't want to end up with items that couldn't fit into the height of each tier.
